Here are a few posts from last week's Greenpage that might be worth your time...
FireAid Benefit Concerts Estimated to Have Raised $100M For L.A.
www.hollywoodreporter.com: The FireAid benefit concerts in Los Angeles, which took place on January 30 and featured performances from dozens of artists including Billie Eilish, Green Day and Stevie Nicks, are expected to have raised more than $100 million to support recovery across the city, organizers announced on Tuesday.
Opinion | Hank Azaria’s ‘Simpsons’ Voices Won’t Be Fully Replicated by A.I.
The New York Times: I imagine that soon enough, artificial intelligence will be able to recreate the sounds of the more than 100 voices I created for characters on “The Simpsons” over almost four decades. It makes me sad to think about it. Not to mention, it seems just plain wrong to steal my likeness or sound — or anyone else’s.

The New York Times: Striking stage crews have idled the nonprofit Atlantic Theater Company — the birthplace of the musicals “Spring Awakening,” “The Band’s Visit” and “Kimberly Akimbo,” which all transferred to Broadway and won Tonys. The strike, which began last month, comes amid a drive to unionize stagehands and crews at Off Broadway theaters.
The Beatles' 'Now and Then' Was Made With AI (and That's Okay)
Lifehacker: I happened to catch some of the Grammy Awards last night, and while pop, rap, and country definitely took center stage, it was the Best Rock Performance category that most caught my attention. You might be aware The Beatles operated largely in the 1960s, not the 2020s, and seeing as only half the group is still alive, winning a Grammy for a new song might sound a bit strange.

AMERICAN THEATRE: Last week American artists and arts organizations learned that they won’t be spared from President Trump’s attempts to reshape the federal government in his image, which has roiled agencies all over Washington, D.C., and raised several legal and constitutional alarms since his inauguration last month.
