If I recall, all of Disney's Audio-Animatronic figures are controlled by their own custom system. This is because when they started building all these figures, there was nothing available in the market, so they had to build their own system. If I recall, everything they use is still their own custom system, just now computerized.
IIRC -- this is a totally custom build. All of this sort of automation stuff is built in their automation shop (described to me as "the coolest shop ever!").
I could be wrong, they might have moved to off-the-shelf controllers now.
