There was a snowday (aka weekday cancellation) at CMU my Junior year (so, um, winter 2003-2004). I remember that Kevin cancelled Structures before the official closure, since he couldn't get off Mt. Washington, but the snow day was then campus-wide.
We also had a weekday cancellation on 9/11/2001.
