Do you think there's something wrong with this guy? I mean really...

I use both a mac and a pc daily, one at work and one at home and I juts kind of stared at this poor troubled soul on You Tube, squinting, wondering why he doesn't know how to ue his computer. I work on a pc an average of at least 6 hours every work day and I have crashing, freezing, lost data, and update problems consistently. And I grew up on a pc. After years of resisting, I finally bought a powerbook, and it does none of the things this guys crazy demon mac does. A few words to him:
If you don't want to update at that moment, click the "later" button on the update notification. If you don't want your docl to pop up, set it not to and make it small like a pc tool bar. If you want to corce quit, just control-click on the program icon on your small toolbar-sized dock and chose "force quit." If you want to shut down, select...shut down? You don't even have to with macs, you can just close your laptop and walk away .

Sorry, he's allowed to his opinion but man, for a software dependant professional, he sure seems like he's making life difficult.

also, do you think there's something wrong with me? I was too busy lovingly stroking my pretty silver little mac to preview my comment, sorry for the spelling errors, you know what my mac-loving self meant.

Norton/Symantic hasn't made disc recovery software for a Mac for a couple of years now. No wonder he can't get it to recover his data - he was using a virus protection program.

As the previous poster says, if he bothered to read the literature that came with the computer he would have encountered none of those problems.

This is the kind of video PC users who have never used a Mac think is funny. A computer is a tool - you learn to use it and if it doesn't work for you, use a different tool.

Tool. Heh.

I think the point is...

That the complaints he's making about Macs are just as stupid and facile as the complaints about PCs and the stated and implied advantages about Macs in the similar ads that run on TV.

Those ads are really awful in terms of content and the truth of the implications, but then I am not the target demographic. They are funny though.
