Ellipses...

Watching the game on a 90"+ display in the living room has me thinking about acquiring a projector...  Now that the traffickers have electric/diesel submarines is it maybe time to change up our drug policy...  Folks in the TD3 class are in the final stages of their "Smooth Criminal" projects...  Slate ran a bunch of articles about Sneakers yesterday.  Maybe I'll watch it tonight...  Even very, very early in the season it is hard to watch the Steelers lose...  Really have to say, although nobody seemed to really say it at a convention, in the aggregate I think we're better off now than we were four years ago...  I accidentally discovered an excellent strategy for unfortunate meetings - don't go...  More and more I am thinking I have come around to thinking parallel with Bill Maher...  Really I couldn't even tell you why we have a landline anymore...  All doubt has been eliminated, I have a lot of screwdrivers...  There is no question, students really, really get attached to their projects...  For a moment it looked like I would be going to the NYC World Maker Faire.  Now, less so...  The teachers are on strike in Chicago, hard to know where to be on that, it's a mess.  Of course now that Paul Ryan is against it...  Doing our first show with large format inkjet.  Sure hope everything lines up...  Last week me and the missus had people over three times.  We do enjoy the entertaining...  It was much easier for me to watch the DNC than the RNC.  Maybe my independent status is over...  Thinking of doing a shutterfly book on the dinosaur puzzle projects...  So far the office remodel is holding up very well...  9/11 anniversary, so long ago now...

What do you do to encourage students to remain more objective about their work? Ego-driven design is a terrible thing that I've seen far too often amongst people who are supposed to be professionals.

Actually, from the DPs I think we do pretty well. Mostly we see it from other options and I think it is mostly due to the very small number of chances they get at bat.
