So now being a purchaser these are a few things that have been tough and you could add

DMX cable reels
1/8" ss threaded swage fittings
an aluminum extrusion fabricator
white unistrut
high capacity track and carriers (>1000#) ( and no not an i-beam and and i-beam trolley)
foam i-beam pads
bearings that fit into unistrut
fully keyed shafts

things that just might be good to find but are easy:

arial lift/scaffolding rental
a drapery manufacturer other than rosebrand and sssl
theatrical rigging contractors (that just might be if anyone comes up with PDO)

any way... ill probably think of more... i mean tomorrow is another day

Being a trusty assistant, I do my fair share of purchasing and management of shoppers...

a 12' red kayak, delivered to a major US city, within a week.
a surfboard in the Midwest
display panel stand-offs
acrylic sphere
fake fruit
Ridiculously Large kitchen utensils

I'll send a few others in an email.

a 12' red kayak delivered within a week is harder than you would ever expect. Mine came from Ely, MN, sent via "private vehicle".

I find that rentals can be just as difficult as purchases. Especially for nonstandard periods of time.

4x10 sheets of any non-standard color plexiglass. Extra credit points if you can find it during passover(maybe that's a new york problem. . .) Non-black baby grand pianos, Large format solvent-inkjet printers,

Also, in the subs dept., CNC Plasma cutter, Topiary fabricators, People willing to bend large(over 4") steel shapes.
