FrankenKitty Update

The UberVet had said she'd be gone by now. So it seemed like a good time to do a FrankenKitty update. The phone camera photo isn't so great, but the picture really sums up the story.

If you look against the white background by her hip you will see her friend the tumor. Its now about the size of a small grapefruit. Recently it has started to effect her gait some. Sorta causing the rear leg on that side to turn in a little bit.

If you remember, we were ahead of this tumor and were going to have it removed - with the leg - when the UberVet called and explained that even with the surgery he didn't think he'd be able to get all of it and that it would be something like 50/50 that the tumor would recur within a year. At the time we figured that taking the tumor and the six months he gave her with the leg would be better for her.

So its been six months. She still has the tumor. But she's also still with us and still able to get around the house, even up and down stairs. She's maybe a little more mopey lately. But you can hardly blame her.
